 Impact on well-being

Having completed the 8 week Mindfulness and Awareness course, I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone! Denise presented the course in a clear,accepting and engaging way, giving easily understandable examples of how mindfulness practice can help me in my everyday life. The knowledge and practice that I have taken away from the course continue to positively impact my wellbeing and those around me. Thank you once again Denise.

Year 13 student: Reset-button

If I have learnt anything over the past term, it is that I cannot sit still. However, what I can now do, is pay attention to my breath and reach a state of quietness in which I am able to self-reflect without judgement and merely notice all the thoughts and feelings clogging up my mind. Mindfulness has helped me to find a reset-button through the breath as well as a lot of food for thought. What if all people were mindful? How different would life be? One thing is for sure, I can most certainly recommend mindfulness to anybody, especially those who are overworked and stressed.
